Job summary

Aon’s Pharmacy Analytics group seeks an AVP/VP to lead the design and implementation of analytics solutions across pharmacy benefit management, formulary strategy, and specialty pharmacy. This role drives executive-ready insights from complex data and partners with clinical, actuarial, and technology teams to deliver scalable reporting capabilities.

You will guide analytics strategy, mentor senior analysts, and advance risk and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharmacy analytics, PBM, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of PBM operations, claims adjudication, pricing methodologies, rebate structures, and formulary design.
• Proven experience translating complex analytics into strategic recommendations for executives.
• Strong leadership of analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with large healthcare datasets and analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of pharmacy analytics solutions aligned with client priorities.
• Oversee analytics on pharmacy claims, utilization, pricing, rebates, formulary management, and PBM performance.
• Translate analytics into executive-ready insights and client-facing narratives.
• Partner with clinical, actuarial, data science, product, and technology teams to build scalable analytics.
• Support PBM evaluations, market checks, audits, and vendor performance reviews with data-driven insights.
• Identify cost-efficiency opportunities, trend drivers, and gaps to inform benefit design and intervention strategies.
• Ensure methodologies are sound, repeatable, and aligned with client objectives and standards.
• Provide leadership and coaching to analytics team members.
