Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Vice President, Health IT Strategy & Transformation for a fully remote role across the United States. You will serve as a senior advisory partner to our federal Health IT portfolio, guiding mission strategy and enterprise modernization for VA programs.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in strategic management consulting, enterprise transformation, and strategic communications, with strong federal Health IT experience and ability to operate at the C‑suite level.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic management consulting or enterprise transformation.
• Experience advising senior federal executives and leading complex transformations.
• Strong strategic communications and executive advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior federal health IT executives on enterprise modernization and delivery strategy.
• Lead enterprise-level transformation across operating models, governance, and workforce.
• Provide strategic communications, executive messaging, and stakeholder engagement materials.
• Direct VA account delivery teams across IT service management, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.
• Shape client strategy and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with senior VA stakeholders.
• Translate mission needs into actionable, enterprise-wide programs and roadmaps.
