Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Vice President of Health IT Strategy & Transformation to advise senior federal leaders on enterprise modernization and delivery across VA programs. This fully remote role requires executive presence, strategic communications, and deep Health IT expertise to guide complex government transformations.

You will lead enterprise initiatives, coordinate with VA leadership and partners, and shape roadmaps that balance mission strategy with technology-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or MBA required.
• 15+ years of strategic management consulting and enterprise transformation experience.
• Strong federal Health IT domain knowledge, VA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior federal health IT executives.
• Lead enterprise-level transformation efforts across governance, operating model, and workforce.
• Advise on digital transformation strategies including AI and emerging tech in Health IT.
• Represent GovCIO's Health IT strategy to C-level clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee VA delivery teams, performance metrics, and efficient execution.
• Develop executive communications and sensitive messaging for large-scale changes.
