Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Vice President, Health IT Strategy & Transformation to serve as a senior consulting and advisory partner for our federal Health IT portfolio. You will advise on mission strategy, lead delivery operations, and guide enterprise modernization at the program level.

This role requires bridging mission strategy, technology-driven transformation, and executive communications, with experience supporting the VA and the ability to operate remotely across the United States.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic management consulting, advisory, enterprise transformation, or delivery.
• Experience advising senior executives and leading complex transformation efforts.
• Demonstrated strategic communications expertise in large transformations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior federal health IT executives, translating needs into enterprise-wide modernization and delivery strategy.
• Lead enterprise-level transformation efforts across governance, workforce, and technology change.
• Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, including AI adoption in Health IT.
• Represent GovCIO's view on Health IT strategy to C-level stakeholders.
• Oversee VA delivery team operations and coordination with delivery professionals.
