Job summary

GovCIO seeks a VP of Business Unit Strategy & Integration to partner with the SVP of the Benefits & Memorials BU, aligning delivery, finances, growth, staffing, and client priorities across programs. You will translate strategy into priorities, coordinate cross-functional action, and ensure commitments are carried through to completion with strong technical and business acumen.

This is a fully remote role within the United States, reporting to the SVP, requiring broad federal tech and contract

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of federal tech and program delivery experience.
• Ability to work across technical delivery and business-management disciplines.
• Experience with IT modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology programs.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the SVP to translate strategy into priorities, operating plans, measurable objectives, and accountable execution.
• Maintain an integrated view of the business unit's delivery, financial performance, client relationships, workforce, technical priorities, growth pipeline, and organizational risks.
• Identify connections, conflicts, dependencies, and opportunities across programs.
• Ensure the SVP has timely, accurate, decision-ready information.
• Prepare analyses, options, recommendations, and decision materials for significant business unit matters.
• Translate executive decisions into clear actions, owners, timelines, and follow-through.
• Maintain visibility into key commitments and ensure decision and action items are closed.
• Help leadership distinguish between monitored info, intervention-needed issues, and SVP-involved decisions.
• Support annual planning, strategic planning, and organizational design.
