GovCIO is seeking a Vice President, Health IT Strategy & Transformation to serve as a senior consulting partner for the federal Health IT portfolio. You will advise on mission strategy, lead delivery operations, and guide enterprise modernization at the program level, bridging strategy, transformation, communications, and execution.

Experience with the VA and federal Health IT is required. This fully remote role operates across the United States with standard EST business hours and occasional

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or MBA required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience spanning strategic management consulting, strategic advisory, enterprise transformation, strategic communications, or technology-enabled delivery.
• Significant experience advising senior executives and leading complex transformation efforts.
• Demonstrated strategic communications expertise for executive audiences.
• Experience with federal Health IT environment and VA is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior federal health IT executives and translate needs into enterprise modernization strategy.
• Lead enterprise-level transformation efforts across governance, workforce, and technology change.
• Advise on digital transformation and responsible AI governance within Health IT roadmaps.
• Own and deliver strategic communications, executive briefing materials, and stakeholder plans.
• Direct delivery teams supporting VA accounts and establish program direction and quality.
• Support client growth, qualify new opportunities, and maintain executive relationships.
