Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines with 5–7+ years of operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency. You will act as a national SME in Commercial P&C, partnering with leadership to drive workflow standardization, process improvement, and scalable operations.

Ideal candidates will hold an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC, and demonstrate experience in M&A integration, change leadership, and analytics to optimize client service and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and consistency.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and workload to develop capacity plans.
• Align resources with organizational goals and M&A activity.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Lead change management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Promote effective use of EPIC and other tech platforms.
