Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national expert in Commercial P&C and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to standardize workflows, improve processes, and drive scalable growth across the organization.

The role requires 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, an active P&C license (CPCU/CIC preferred), and strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C operations, workflows, and servicing models.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional and regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity.
• Evaluate issues via root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and reporting tools.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Build partnerships with producers and leadership to drive results.
