Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national subject matter expert and drive operational excellence across the brokerage. You will standardize workflows, support M&A integration, and partner with regional leaders to elevate client service and shareholder value.

Ideal candidates hold an active P&C license with CPCU/CIC designations, 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, and demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization while

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity modeling.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional leadership to develop and execute commercial lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and consistency.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop capacity plans through workforce planning and workload analysis.
• Align with Managed Services to optimize resource use.
• Serve as national Commercial P&C expert guiding operations and systems.
