Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. The role collaborates with Divisional and Regional Leadership to advance objectives, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency and scalability across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a Property & Casualty license, CPCU/CIC designation, 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a large brokerage, and

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to strengthen operations and service delivery.
• Lead operational excellence, identify challenges, and implement scalable solutions.
• Promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for sustainable gains.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Managed Services for resource alignment and goals.
• Provide national subject matter expertise on Commercial P&C operations and systems.
• Support M&A integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive initiatives.
