Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, drive workflow standardization, and optimize agency performance. This role partners with divisional leadership to deliver strategic initiatives, improve service delivery, and maximize shareholder value across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a Property & Casualty license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years in a large brokerage environment, with strong communication and change

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement and capacity planning to support growth.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity and align with managed services requirements.
• Provide guidance on EPIC usage and technology optimization.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive results and accountability.
• Lead change management and professional development to sustain improvements.
