The Standard is actively seeking a Voluntary Employee Benefits Consultant to partner with Sales, Underwriting, and Product teams to support RFPs, pricing discussions, and implementation planning for clients. The role covers Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Pittsburgh markets, and requires collaboration with multiple internal teams to hit production goals.

You will establish partnerships with national and regional brokerages, technology partners, and enrollment firms to advance The Standard’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Life & health licensing required; if not licensed, must obtain upon hire.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience selling voluntary benefits.
• Must have strong relationships with Voluntary Practice Leads at national and regional brokerages in MI, Northern Ohio and Pittsburgh markets.
• Must have experience presenting to national brokerage firms on sales strategy and value propositions.
• Must have ability to travel 3-5 times per month.

Responsabilités

• Support RFP submissions, questionnaires, pricing discussions, and implementation planning for prospective and existing clients.
• Oversee a territory that includes Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Pittsburgh markets.
• Collaborate with LAD Sales Reps, Sales Support, Underwriting, Policyholder Services, Billing, Compliance, and Compensation to achieve production goals.
