Job summary

The Standard in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Voluntary Employee Benefits Consultant to drive top-line growth across Columbus, OH and Indianapolis, IN. The role partners with brokers and enrollment firms to educate, train, and motivate teams for profitable growth and sales objectives.

Residence in southwest Ohio or the Indianapolis area is required, with regular travel within the territory. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and health licensing, plus 2+ years in voluntary benefits sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and life/health licensing required or obtainable on hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience selling voluntary benefits preferred.
• Must travel 2–3 days per week within the territory and reside in SW Ohio or Indianapolis area.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain consulting relationships with broker partners and enrollment firms.
• Serve as subject matter expert on enrollment solutions and product offerings.
• Deliver training and development to producers and agencies; support regional growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve production goals and quality service.
• Analyze market trends and advise on recruiting, marketing and strategy.
