Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a VMO Manager to establish and lead the vendor management office within Technology, optimizing MSP outcomes, governance, and KPI alignment across engagements.

This role partners with Technology, Security, Risk, Legal, and Finance to drive compliance, value realization, and risk mitigation, delivering measurable business outcomes and strengthened vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and/or related field required.
• 8+ years in vendor management, service delivery management, IT operations or sourcing within a technology organization.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and runs the VMO governance framework for MSPs, including cadence, artifacts, and decision rights (e.g., QBR/MBR, contract reviews, risk reviews).
• Enforces standardized vendor playbooks, SLAs/XLAs, KPIs, escalation paths, RACI, and scorecards.
• Maintains contracts/SOWs repository and ensures alignment to enterprise policies.
• Drives regulatory, security, and data privacy compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR/CCPA) with Security, Risk, and Legal.
• Creates and manages portfolio view of MSP engagements (status, risks, financials, outcomes).
• Drives value realization through cost optimization, service stability, and risk reduction; informs decision-making.
• Partners with IT leaders, Finance/Procurement, and Legal to align contracts and budgets.
