Job summary

My Virtual Physician is seeking a Virtual Medical Assistant to greet and assist patients remotely, manage scheduling, and maintain accurate records in Athena EMR. You will support providers with documentation and follow-up tasks while handling high volumes of patient inquiries through Birdeye channels.

This role offers flexible remote work options and the opportunity to work either as a 1099 contractor or as an employed staff member, with a focus on accuracy and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients virtually, ensuring a positive experience.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient reminders.
• Collect and update patient information in Athena EMR.
• Support providers with documentation and follow-up tasks.
• Respond promptly to a high volume of patient inquiries via Birdeye texting, phone, and email.
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure data accuracy across Birdeye and Athena.
