The role requires 1+ year of Medical Virtual Assistant experience, strong English communication, and solid knowledge of EHR/EMR systems. A graveyard shift is part of the schedule, with full remote work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical fields or pharmaceutical-related industry.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 or higher).
• Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.
• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and able to troubleshoot common issues.
• Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and time-management skills.
• Tech savvy with current technologies (cloud, VoIP).
• Able to work night/graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Document new patient and referral intake.
• Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling for patients and providers.
• Input patient data, medical records, and billing dates into EMR/EHR.
• Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
• Respond to patient inquiries and direct to healthcare professionals.
• Analyze healthcare data, prepare reports, and maintain records.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate sending medical records as directed.
• Perform ad hoc tasks.
