Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, part of The Carrington Companies, seeks a Vendor Management Supervisor to direct a nationwide team of Specialists from a remote home-based setting. You will oversee vendor selection, monitoring, and compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and regulations across mortgage operations.

You will lead performance, drive process improvements, and ensure adherence to investor guidelines while training staff and aligning with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• At least three years in a lead/supervisory role with two or more staff.
• Experience establishing, negotiating and enforcing vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Management reporting experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, nationwide environment.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration and technical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Vendor Management staff and set performance expectations.
• Monitor third-party vendor compliance with policies and regulations.
• Evaluate vendor adherence to contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Lead and develop vendor management staff and provide coaching.
• Maintain department policies, forms, reports and training materials.
• Assess vendor risk and review due diligence documentation.
• Manage monthly vendor scorecards and address performance issues.
• Oversee annual vendor re-certification processes and non-responsive vendors.
• Oversee onboarding/termination processes and regulatory adherence.
• Review audit requests and vendor on-site risk reports with stakeholders.
