Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Senior Vendor Management Supervisor to lead a nationwide team of specialists in selecting, monitoring, and assessing third-party vendors across mortgage operations. You will ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and investor guidelines while guiding process improvements and staff development.

The role requires strong leadership, deep vendor-management experience, and the ability to manage complex remote teams across multiple states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance, or vendor management.
• At least three years in a lead or supervisory role with two or more staff.
• Proven ability to establish, negotiate, and enforce vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Strong management reporting experience.
• Ability to work independently in a complex remote environment.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Outlook/SharePoint/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams/Visio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily Vendor Management staff; set expectations and foster teamwork.
• Monitor third-party vendor compliance with policies and regulations.
• Evaluate vendor SLA compliance and address issues promptly.
• Lead and coach staff; manage workload and development opportunities.
• Maintain department policies, forms, reports, and training material.
• Analyze reports and vendor management system to improve quality.
• Share performance results with staff; identify strengths and opportunities.
• Assess vendor risk levels and review due diligence documentation.
• Oversee monthly vendor scorecards and address performance issues.
• Oversee annual re-certifications and rectify non-responsive vendors.
• Oversee onboarding/termination processes; ensure regulatory adherence.
• Review exception reports and improve reporting processes.
• Respond to internal/external audits; coordinate remediation plans.
• Manage escalations and communicate with upper management.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.
