Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a remote Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager in the United States to lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and strategic security advisory services for clients. You will partner with clients, executive leadership, security operations, and internal analysts to strengthen security programs and meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance
• Active CISSP certification in good standing
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audit support experience
• Experience conducting cybersecurity risk assessments, managing third-party/vendor risk, and using GRC platforms
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to advise executives across Windows, macOS, cloud, networking, and identity environments

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001)
• Conduct compliance gap assessments, framework crosswalks, and remediation tracking
• Oversee Security Program Platform and governance/risks/compliance processes
• Manage internal and client risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and cyber insurance questionnaires
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including security strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting
• Guide clients on AI governance and data protection to address emerging security risks
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure remediation of identified gaps
• Coordinate with security operations for incident response and remediation activities
• Support pre-sales engagements and opportunities to expand client security programs
• Oversee annual backup recovery testing and business continuity guidance
