Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States–based role. You will lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and vCISO advisory services for clients, coordinating with executives and technical teams to strengthen security postures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audits and evidence management experience.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to advise executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives, risk assessments, policy development, audit prep, evidence collection, and ongoing monitoring across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001.
• Conduct compliance gap assessments, framework crosswalks, maturity evaluations, and remediation tracking.
• Oversee the Security Program Platform and governance, risk, and compliance processes.
• Manage internal and client risk assessments, third-party risk management, and vendor security due diligence.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including strategy, roadmaps, investment planning, and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance, acceptable-use policies, data protection, and emerging AI security risks.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and audit-ready documentation with remediation tracking.
• Oversee CSS delivery to meet contractual security commitments and close gaps.
• Determine deliverables across service tiers based on client requirements and risk profiles.
• Ensure Cyber Posture Snapshots, Health Checks, and annual security summaries are delivered.
• Lead executive strategy meetings and escalation for complex cybersecurity and risk issues.
• Communicate security findings and remediation priorities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security ops on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation.
