Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001; experience supporting audits.
• Experience with risk assessments, third‑party/vendor risk, cyber insurance, and GRC platforms.
• Strong client-facing communication to advise executives and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Oversee risk assessments, remediation tracking, and third-party risk management for clients.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with security operations and clients to strengthen programs and ensure contractual obligations.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for client environments.
