Job summary

ICU Medical Inc. is seeking a Vascular Access Sales Specialist to build and maintain the vascular access and blood collection business within a defined territory. You will establish relationships with key decision makers to protect existing revenue and grow future opportunities.

The role emphasizes clinical expertise, product trials, and collaboration with regional teams to drive profitability and patient outcomes. Travel is expected for field coverage and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with vascular access, blood collection, or infusion therapy products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align territory activities with Regional Sales Manager to meet revenue objectives.
• Demonstrate mastery of ICU product lines and related industry guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clinicians on how guidelines intersect with ICU products.
• Position ICU offerings against competitors to drive clinical and technical advantage.
• Serve as clinical expert and problem solver at field level for clinical and supply chain contacts.
• Know top 50 customers in the territory, including contracts and distribution models.
• Conduct product trials and implement ICU products in the Vascular Access portfolio.
• Engage local AVA, INS, VACC, APIC, ONS and other chapters to know market and clinicians.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales, Marketing and Operations to improve performance.
• Meet or exceed annual performance objectives and participate in special projects; occasional weekend/night work.
