Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced UX researchers to train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own the full study lifecycle from interviews to insight synthesis and create deliverables across multiple workflows.

The role is fully remote, requires 4+ years of research experience, and offers flexible commitment of 5-20 hours per week with a pay rate of $70 per hour. ASAP start date and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows
• Design and conduct moderated usability tests and synthesize findings into decks and journey maps
• Develop discussion guides, screener criteria, and survey instruments for research studies, translating findings into product recommendations
