Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced customer and user researchers to help train their AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role will focus on creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated outputs across core workflows including usability test decks, customer interview syntheses, and journey maps.

Fully remote with a flexible schedule of 5–20 hours per week. Compensation is $70 per hour with start ASAP and ownership of the full study lifecycle from planning

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

• Lead customer interviews, usability tests, and surveys; synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
