Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced customer and user researchers to train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated outputs across core workflows such as usability test decks, interview syntheses, survey analyses, and journey maps.

Fully remote with flexible hours (5-20 per week), start ASAP. Compensation is $70 per hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Conduct moderated usability tests and synthesize findings into decks.
• Perform customer interviews and code themes to generate insights.
• Design surveys and analyze results for research studies.
• Create journey maps and insight briefs translating findings into product recommendations.
• Produce high-quality documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
