Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced research operations leads to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and an ASAP start, with compensation at $70/hour and a commitment of 5–20 hours per week (or more if desired).

Required are 4+ years in customer or user research, ownership of the full study lifecycle, and expertise in synthesis, coding, and designing surveys.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Lead moderation, coding, and synthesis to generate actionable product insights.
• Collaborate with researchers and product teams to translate findings into recommendations.
