Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced design researchers to help train a leading AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own the full study lifecycle from discussion guides to insight synthesis, delivering high-quality decks and briefs.

This remote, part-time role offers 5–20 hours per week with ASAP start, flexible scheduling, and collaboration with a founding AI lab network. Compensation is $70/hour with ongoing project opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Design and conduct moderated usability tests and synthesize results into actionable insights.
• Develop journey maps, insight briefs, and product recommendations from research findings.
