EK Health Services is seeking an Index-Intake Coordinator to prepare electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals. The role combines indexing and intake tasks, with end-to-end processing of Utilization Review referrals and case assignments.

This full-time, remote position features a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5:30 PM PST) and requires strong data entry, organization, and communication skills. California, New York and Hawaii residency are not considered for this posting.

Qualificações

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Professional demeanor with Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.
• Strong Organization Skills.
• Must be computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel, Email, and Internet.
• Basic medical terminology.
• Basic clerical and administrative skills.
• Must be Accurate and Efficient.
• Must be Punctual and Dependable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Scan, upload, and label case documents into the appropriate case files.
• Separate and sort hard copy/soft copy medical files and documents.
• Process referrals with deadlines and send reviews to HCPs.
• Collect medical files and documents to be scanned, indexed, and uploaded to UR case management application.
• Heavy data entry.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and assist callers.
• Interact with Nurses, Insurance Adjusters, and other medical professionals.
• Respond to routine inquiries and refer complex requests as needed.
• In-take / data entry of UR referrals into EK Health Services software and case assignment.
• Other duties as assigned.
