Imedview is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support the medical records retrieval process. You will review and enter authorizations, submit requests to facilities, and keep clients updated with timely status communications.

This role emphasizes organization, multi-tasking, independence, and proactive problem solving. Remote-friendly position with periodic onsite meetings within 100 miles of Saugerties, NY.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in medical authorizations or healthcare administration
• Proficient communication across phone and email
• Experience in customer service within legal/healthcare is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Organized with strong attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Communicate with medical facilities to confirm receipt of authorizations
• Build new cases and services, entering new authorizations and request information within our proprietary software
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure a smooth authorization process
• Prioritize and process authorizations daily, giving time-sensitive requests appropriate priority
• Review and verify documentation to ensure requests are complete and properly documented prior to submission
• Build and submit record requests to the appropriate facility per workflows and client requirements
• Monitor requests for missing information or processing issues and follow up as needed
• Maintain accurate case documentation, including uploading supporting documents
• Communicate with clients regarding request status and Intake-related questions
• Escalate client concerns or workflow barriers as appropriate
• Adhere to protocols, regulations, and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information
