Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Remote Inside Sales Support professional located in the United States to handle order entry, tracking, and order management for local units and agent accounts.

You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate bid proposals while handling multiple projects and changes in priority. The role requires 5+ years of technical customer support experience, familiarity with power transmission and distribution products, and prior B2B support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial/Utility or related fields (or equivalent).
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems (preferred).
• Previous experience with business-to-business customer support (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking and order management with local business units and ABB groups.
• Coordinate with local business units to track orders and assure on-time customer delivery.
• Collaborate with ABB groups to ensure bid proposals meet customer requirements.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
