ABB is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional in the United States (remote) responsible for order entry, tracking, and management with local units and ABB groups. Role expands to agent accounts and requires strong coordination to meet customer needs and on-time delivery.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business and at least 5 years of technical customer support experience in industrial/utility sectors, plus familiarity with B2B support and databases.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial/Utility fields or equivalent.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business-to-business customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and order management with local business units and ABB groups.
• Expand to support activities at agent accounts.
• Coordinate activities with local business units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input to ensure bid proposals meet customer requirements.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
• Periodic customer reporting for outstanding orders, Vendor Managed Inventory or Blanket Order management.
