Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional located in the United States. You will execute daily customer activities, including order entry, tracking, and management with local units and ABB groups, with expansion to agent accounts.

The role is remote but candidates must be located in the United States. You will coordinate with local units to ensure on-time delivery, support bid proposals, and handle multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support in Industrial/Utility fields.
• Knowledge of power transmission & distribution products preferred.
• Experience with B2B customer support preferred.
• Proficiency with computer databases; empower experience preferred.
• Must have work authorization to work in United States.

Responsibilities

• Use ABB tools and product configuration systems.
• Coordinate with local units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input to ensure bid proposals meet customer requirements.
• Process information for multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• Attend meetings to discuss contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite overdue invoice collections.
• May require periodic customer reporting for outstanding orders or VMI.
