Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in the San Diego area is seeking an Account Manager for the utility sector. You will maintain and expand relationships with strategically important accounts, manage sales targets, pipeline, and account planning, coordinating with internal teams to meet objectives.

You will develop account plans, negotiate with customers, monitor claims, and identify opportunities for products and services in power transmission and distribution while traveling about 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years in account management and/or sales.
• Experience across Engineering, Project Management, Sales and/or Marketing.
• Sales or business development with utilities/energy clients.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of customer relationships and CRM concepts.
• Willingness to travel 20%.

Responsibilities
