Gallagher Security, a leader in protective technology, seeks a Business Development Manager - Utilities for a remote USA-based role. Travel up to three times per month.

You will drive new business across the Americas, opening doors and building executive relationships from prospecting to close. Own the full sales cycle, collaborate with regional teams and partners, and tailor value-led solutions for utilities—oil & gas, energy, and water.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in security or tech.
• Based in the USA with travel up to three times per month.
• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Experience managing a full, solution-based sales cycle from inquiry to close.
• Comfort with outbound prospecting and opening new doors.

Responsibilities

• Win net-new customers across Utilities, including oil & gas, energy, and water systems.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline via prospecting, cold calling, networking, and visits.
• Develop trusted relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Understand security challenges and shape value-led solutions with technical teams.
• Deliver engaging presentations to show Gallagher's solutions.
• Collaborate with regional teams, partners, and consultants to move opportunities forward.
• Support RFPs, tenders, and proposals to secure new projects.
• Maintain pipeline, activity, and forecast in CRM.
