Job summary

Gallagher Security, a global security solutions leader, seeks a Business Development Manager - Utilities in the United States. You will drive new business growth across the Americas, opening doors with oil & gas, energy, and water & wastewater sectors.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, collaborating with regional sales, channel partners, consultants and technical specialists to solve customer challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales or business development in security/tech or related field.
• Based in the USA with ability to travel up to three times per month.
• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Experience managing a full, solution-based sales cycle from first conversation to close.
• Comfort with outbound prospecting and cold calling to open new doors.

Responsibilities

• Win net-new customers across Utilities (oil & gas, energy, water).
• Build and manage a strong pipeline via outbound prospecting and events.
• Develop trusted relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Understand customers' security challenges and shape value-led solutions.
• Deliver engaging presentations showing product value.
• Collaborate with regional teams and partners to move opportunities forward.
• Support RFPs, tenders, and proposals to win projects.
• Maintain pipeline, activity, and forecasting in CRM.
