Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Key Account Manager for Latin America and International Markets. The role focuses on transformer components, OEMs, and strategic partners, with remote work in the United States and travel as needed.

You will develop market strategies, manage key accounts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate customer needs into prioritized product initiatives while pursuing profitable orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
• At least five years in technical sales, business development, or KAM for electrical equipment or transformer components
• Fluency in Spanish and English for discussions, presentations, and negotiations
• Experience developing business in Mexico or South America and understanding regional customer practices
• Willingness to travel internationally to customers, partners, and events

Responsibilities

• Develop a market-entry and growth plan for Mexico and South America identifying OEMs, demand, and qualifications
• Build market visibility and identify opportunities, decision-makers, and routes to market
• Develop relationships with transformer manufacturers, engineering, procurement, and distributors
• Lead customer qualification and supplier development, coordinate reviews, samples, and factory visits
• Create account plans with growth opportunities, annual demand estimates, and route to orders
• Own international bookings and margin objectives; lead bids, pricing, negotiations, and closures
• Coordinate quotations with the team and obtain approvals for discounts and commitments
• Evaluate freight, duties, currency, payment terms, and export requirements
• Validate product requirements with engineering and delivery commitments with operations
• Maintain CRM-driven opportunity tracking and report country performance
• Product-management duties: gather requirements, develop roadmap, launches, and monitor margins
