Job summary

Central Moloney seeks a Key Account Manager to grow transformer business with data centers, renewable developers, BESS, and commercial/industrial accounts across the United States. The role blends new customer acquisition with strategic account management and early project engagement.

Reporting to the SVP Sales USA, you will own assigned accounts, coordinate with internal teams, and drive profitable offers with achievable delivery commitments. Remote while traveling in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or strategic account management.
• Experience in datacenters or renewable energy markets strongly preferred.
• Experience with distribution transformers or electrical distribution equipment strongly preferred.
• Understanding of project lifecycles, EPC structures, and developer-driven sales models.
• Ability to build markets, influence specs, and secure preferred vendor positioning.
• Financial acumen in pricing, margin management, and commercial risk.
• Executive-level communication capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute prioritized growth plans for three markets and target accounts.
• Build relationships with data center owners, developers, EPCs, and partners.
• Lead supplier qualification and engage procurement and project teams.
• Identify transformer packages and coordinate technical approvals.
• Negotiate and close orders within delegated authority.
