Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Key Account Manager for Latin America and International Markets to grow transformer components business with OEMs and strategic partners. You will develop market-entry strategies, manage key accounts, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to deliver profitable orders.

Reporting to the Senior VP Sales, USA, you will build market intelligence, establish customer access, lead qualifications, and convert opportunities into orders while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Minimum five years in technical sales, business development, or key account management for electrical equipment or transformer components.
• Fluent in Spanish and English for discussions, presentations, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop a market-entry and growth plan for Mexico and South America, assessing OEMs, demand, competitors, pricing, and qualifications.
• Build market visibility and identify decision-makers, recommended countries, customers and investments.
• Develop relationships with transformer manufacturers, engineering and procurement teams, and distributors; coordinate partnerships and coverage.
• Lead customer qualification and supplier development; coordinate reviews, samples, trials, documentation, and factory visits; track approvals to orders.
• Create account plans with growth opportunities, contacts, demand estimates, and margins; negotiate frameworks where justified.
• Own international bookings and margin objectives; lead qualification, bids, pricing, negotiations and closing within authority.
• Coordinate technical and commercial quotations; obtain discounts and contractual approvals.
• Evaluate freight, duties, currency, payment, and delivery assumptions with Finance and Logistics; reflect terms in offers.
• Validate product requirements with Engineering and delivery commitments with Operations; maintain customer communication on changes and quality issues.
• Maintain opportunities, forecasts, account activity and win/loss feedback in CRM; report performance and actions.
• Gather customer requirements, drive product roadmaps and launches, monitor sales and margins.
