Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 50‑minute, one‑on‑one math or ELA lessons to students based in North America. You will meet a set time each week in an online classroom with a flexible schedule you set.

As an independent contractor, you will teach through Cosmo’s curriculum, update your availability in the app, prepare materials, provide feedback, and communicate professionally with parents and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching credentials preferred.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards is expected.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC with a suitable processor.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App promptly
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students professionally
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
