Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 tutors deliver personalized 1-on-1 instruction to K-12 students across North America using the Cosmo curriculum. This independent contractor role offers a flexible, set schedule with 50-minute online lessons.

We seek experienced educators with a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years teaching ELA or math, reliable internet, and a commitment of at least 6 months. Availability 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards recommended.
• Must have reliable internet and a computer meeting minimum specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
