Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced tutors to deliver 1 on 1 math or ELA lessons to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible weekly schedule, meet weekly for 50 minutes per session, and create a welcoming online learning environment.

As an independent contractor, you will be paid $20 USD per class plus incentives, with expectations for reliability, professional communication, and consistent availability in the late afternoon/evening EST or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Mon-Fri or weekends, with at least 20 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
