Vantor is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a remote-friendly team supporting the Falcon program. You will develop backend services, data pipelines, and APIs while collaborating with data scientists and customers to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Required are 4+ years of experience with Java or Rust, and a BS in CS or a related field. A TS clearance is required. The role offers flexible remote work within the continental U.S. and salary ranges tied to location.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with current Top Secret/CBP/DHS suitability.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in Java, Rust, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s degree may substitute two years.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, development, and sustainment of mission-focused software applications, backend services, APIs, data processing workflows, and analytical capabilities.
• Support data scientists and mission partners by creating and refining software, maintaining existing applications, and improving performance.
• Collaborate in an agile, remote-first environment with code reviews and technical documentation.
