Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support the FALCON effort. This role can be performed remotely within the continental United States and requires active U.S. Government security clearance at Top Secret/CBP-DHS suitability.

You will work with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to build, sustain, and enhance mission-focused software, data pipelines, and analytical capabilities in an agile, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required with active Top Secret clearance and/or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Minimum 4 years professional programming, design, or development experience.
• Strong experience with one or more typed languages (Java, Rust) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with agile development tools (Jira, Confluence, Git) and remote work.
• Must be willing to work remotely in the continental U.S. or from a Vantor facility.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, development, and sustainment of mission-focused software, backend services, APIs, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable capabilities in an agile, remote-friendly environment.
• Support coding reviews, technical documentation, and performance improvements.
