Job summary

Vantor seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support the FALCON mission. This role can be performed remotely within the continental United States, with Westminster, CO listed as a location.

You will help build mission-focused software, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines, collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights. Minimum qualifications include US citizenship, active Top Secret/CBP/DHS suitability, a BS in CS or related field, 6+

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Top Secret clearance or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of professional programming or software development experience.
• Proficient in strongly-typed languages (Java or Rust).
• Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with agile practices and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor others.
• Willingness to work remotely or from a Vantor facility.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing research, development, and maintenance of mission-focused software, backend services, APIs, data processing workflows, and analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and mission partners to refine applications, troubleshoot defects, and improve performance in an agile, remote-first environment.
