Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, not-for-profit/government experience preferred.
• Experience in grants management, financial accounting, governmental accounting standards, or accounts payable is a plus.
• Strong communication via multiple channels (email, phone, chat, helpdesk) and client service mindset.
• Ability to analyze problems, think critically, and propose solutions.
• Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel approximately 10–15% as needed.
• Collaborates across functions to build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting, governance, and consulting services for Tribal governments.
• Prepare deliverables and ensure timely client submissions.
• Develop policies on key accounting matters and improve processes.
• Coordinate audit readiness and assist with audit preparation.
• Support practice growth and quality reviews by the team.
