The role emphasizes monthly closing, grants reporting, and financial reporting to senior decision makers, while developing new policies and improving processes. Occasional travel to client locations, firm trainings, or conferences is required, and you will contribute to growing the practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers
• Prepares polished deliverables for clients; ensures timely client deliverables
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters
• Works collaboratively with clients to understand current business practices, identify opportunities for improvement, assist in defining new processes, and assist in developing updated policies
• Performs project start up activities, such as following project work plans, adhering to schedules, and attending kickoff meetings
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process, which may include helping clients prepare for their audits
• Assists with helping grow the practice
• Reviews the work of self and team for accuracy
• Serves as an integral member of our Business Consulting Services team
• Occasionally travels to client locations, firm trainings, or industry conferences
