Job summary

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system, is seeking a Senior Travel Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for travel businesses in a remote United States role. You'll build a robust pipeline through outreach, events, and strategic networking across travel sub-verticals and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Strategy teams to close deals.

You will develop trusted relationships with travel companies, expanding opportunities and helping clients address cross-border payments,

Qualifications

3+ years closing net-new business in high-growth environments.
Experience in travel, fintech, and/or international payments.
Customer-focused, consultative sales approach.
Experience leading full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
Proven ability to build and manage a robust pipeline.
Strong pitching, negotiation, and relationship skills.
Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, Strategy teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Established network with OTAs, tour operators, or hotel/flight consolidators.

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle for travel businesses, from prospecting through close.
Build a robust pipeline through outreach, events, strategic networking, and relationships across travel verticals.
Develop trusted relationships with travel businesses and expand opportunities across new travel sub-verticals.
Partner with Legal, Finance, Strategy and other internal teams to structure successful partnerships.
Improve customer outcomes by helping travel businesses use Airwallex's platform to address cross-border payments, currency exposure, reconciliation, and fragmented payment flows.
