Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an experienced Full-Service Travel Agent to join our remote Travel Contact Center. You will plan and book domestic and international vacations, assist members and non-members via phone, email, and chat, and recommend AAA benefits based on traveler needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent leisure travel industry sales experience.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
• Ticket void and basic exchange experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations, travel products, and AAA benefits based on traveler needs.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
• Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products to enhance the customer experience.
• Meet established sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow Travel Contact Center Associates when needed.
