Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a full-time remote Full-Service Travel Agent to plan and book domestic and international vacations. You will assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat, while building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service from your home office.

Qualifications include 2+ years in leisure travel sales, familiarity with GDS and airline systems, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; travel school graduates encouraged.
• At least 2 years of leisure travel sales experience.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members via phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations and AAA benefits based on traveler needs.
• Build long-term client relationships and generate repeat business.
• Stay informed about travel promotions and industry trends.
• Process reservations in accordance with ARC and AAA policies.
• Upsell and cross-sell travel products to enhance the experience.
• Meet sales and performance goals while delivering great service.
• Resolve itinerary issues and changes; mentor fellow agents when needed.
