Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to analyze the transportation network, drive cost savings, and optimize logistics across distribution centers, warehouses, and customers.

The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and 3PLs to implement solutions that improve service and efficiency, requiring strong analytics, project management, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with fleet or carrier focus.
• Project management experience with complex timelines and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and trend identification.
• Experience with BI tools for data visualization is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation network data to identify cost reductions and service improvements.
• Lead transportation projects from conception to completion with scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external 3PL carriers.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, translate data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver on schedule.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization in transportation operations.
• Proactively solve complex transportation challenges with data-driven approaches.
